Hollywood smile fast. Is it possible?!
“Smile – it annoys everyone!”, – is sung in one once popular song. Although smile and irritation are more likely incompatible things. How can you resist a charming, radiant and beautiful smile ?! For centuries you can look for a clue to this phenomenon and not find it. Each smile is beautiful and unique in its own way.
However, at the heart of a charming smile are very prosaic things. For clarity, I will give a few examples. Hollywood producers love stories about ugly women who, by the end of the film, become dazzling beauties. This effect is achieved in a rather simple way. The main character either put braces or black teeth, after which the actress instantly loses its beauty. But at the end of the film, a professional dentist takes up the matter and, woo a la, the ugly girl turns into a beauty!
It’s clear that the task of make-up artists is only to “spoil” the heroine a bit, and then return everything back. These “Hollywood” smiles are made in the chairs of dentists, and not on the set. The film industry requires more and more attractive actors who are ready to do anything to fit the right looks. By the way, the term “Hollywood smile” was coined in the 30s of the last century by a certain doctor Charles Pincus, and he also came up with a simple technology that makes it possible to make a smile smooth and snow-white in the shortest possible time. Then it was a small plastic “shell”. They dressed for the time of filming on the teeth, and after the filming process was removed. He called them veneers. From the English veneer, which means “… facing, external gloss.” Of course, such an invention could not be improved. Now veneers, as a rule, are made of porcelain and fixed on the teeth for many years. When can dentists supply you with veneers? Often, teeth suffer from chipping, abrasion, stains, discoloration, or curvature. To fix this, the dentist polishes the darkened pigmented enamel layer, after which the impression is taken, which in turn is sent to the laboratory and the dental technician makes veneers for these teeth. After that, the veneers are returned to the dentist, and he fixes them on a special double-cured cement. Why are veneers made in the laboratory good? And the fact that they do not darken, because it is ceramics, which it does not have any porosity, which means that no food pigments and dyes will be absorbed. In addition, it is a non-metal structure (metal will not shine through), light and very light. Such veneers are durable. There are, of course, the so-called composite veneers. They are made using filling material. The technology is faster and cheaper, although less durable.
But the most important thing in this invention of Dr. Charles Pincus is that you can make your own image of a confident, attractive and successful person yourself. And quickly and without any physical discomfort.
American psychologist Dale Carnegie is the second of six ways people like people to call a smile. If you smile when meeting a person, then he will not tell you bad, even if you deserve it. Smile – it’s so attractive!
